"Swedish Country Interiors" receives 1st Blog Review

Many thanks to two superb blog writers who have so graciously taken the time
to advise us on the "Way of the Blog" and how to better reach our readers through this exciting medium of blogging.

The first is Valorie Hart of Visual * Vamp! The blog of this talented writer, designer and stylist resonates with Rhonda and I deeply because we both studied dance in and around New York and Valorie is a New York dancer
goddess extrordinaire. The Tango!

The Argentine Tango is her dance. We long to go to New Orleans one day and become your students, Valorie! If you are not familiar with the Valorie's site, Visual * Vamp, go immediately ! Thank you Valorie for the review and all of your support !

xxo E & R

We'll tell you next week who our other Super Blogger advisor is. Hmmm. Can we wait that long?

Can we resist telling you that Swedish writer Henning Mankel wrote The Return of the Dancemaster in 2004 about a tango enthusiast who finds the dance figuring prominantly in a grisly murder mystery... ?

  1. HELLO, and welcome to the blog scene!

You are off to a great start...lovely posts, fresh and witty ideas and comments.

I founded my blog two months ago and it has been a great adventure. You will be surprised where it will take you.

I am adding you to my FAVORITES blog roll.

It's also a great way to bring your books to a greater audience! I recently completed my 20th book--and this is the first one that's on a blog. Exciting.

  2. I'm so glad you started this blog!
I can't wait to carry your new book in the shop.

  3. Aw shucks.
You are so talented, and the very least I can do for you is to point bloggers your way.
How did you find that sexy photo of Alberto and me ha ha.
    xo xo

  4. Congratulations on your book, I spotted you off of Diane's blog and wandered over.

There are many elements of Swedish design that appeal to me and many more I wish to learn about.
I think the blog is a good place to start and I hope that you can bring tasters of both books once in a while. Thank you for the marvelous book review link too; I have heard of the author of Wallander, which also been adapted into a BBC program starring fellow countryman Branagh - yet to watch it, but many were riveted.

I hope you enjoy this space. Many blog daily, I tend to blog once a week and am new to it compared to some. Take your time, pace yourself and ... be you :)

  5. Hi,

Welcome to blogland. I just found your blog and can't wait to pick up your new book.

Congratulations on both. I am adding you to my blogroll (if you don't mind).

  6. Welcome!!! I will be stalking you ... I can not wait for the book . Now, don't be a stranger.

  7. So happy for you join the Blogging Family!!
    Excited for your forthcoming posts!!

  8. What a small but fun world we live in! First of all - congratulations on your new design adventures! 2. I can't wait for the second book! 3. Welcome to the blog world! It will be so much fun to follow you! Warm regards, Monika (Rhonda, the apple crown - remember?)

  9. Monika, where are you? We still have your crown. Where can we send it to? What ever happened with that? So glad you wrote a note!
    All my best,

  11. I just ordered your book and it is lovely! I own an antique shop in New Orleans and you are welcomed any time!!! I am also from Argentina so you get a double whammy there. Please feel free to visit and look me up. There are not many Argentines in New Orleans but the few there are are very close.
